looking for POS software for a shop in CT and was wondering if anyone can recommend anything? Will be happy to pay for software and receive support. It must be compatible with Pastel.

Been with a local POS company and the support sucked.

We using micros at our restaurant... Not baad but you have to pay quite alot for any additional functionality.... Their support is pretty good tho.

I've used Integrity POS (in Cape Town) and StoreMaster (by Ultimate Retail Solutions in PTA) - although I only used them in a support capacity.

Both worth looking into as options - although I have no idea about their Pastel integration.

I wrote a POS application for my matric computer science final project Turbo Pascal FTW! Hehe.

But on a more serious note, why don't you walk through a mall and check out what systems the restaurants are using there, then google them and give them a call.
