Possetting and other liquid horrors !!

Yes, it is not for the fainthearted or for non-parents :)

When do babies stop possetting? Baby Blu has it quite bad at times, the milk gets everywhere EXCEPT on her bib - on my clothes, the bed linen, her clothes ... it's just uggh.
 
How old is Baby Blu now?

I recall this happening with all our kids till about 6 months of age but mainly only when we winded them. That last bit of milk caught up on top of a wind. And man does it stink. I actually think I'm smelling it again as I typed this :D

She is almost 4 months now. A lot of milk comes out and not only with the winds. Drives me crazy since i cannot dream of dressing in decent clothes!
 
As I recall by about 6 months. In our case it mostly happened on the occasions when we winded.

After 12 months comes the toddler vomit ;)

I guess it 's OK if you are not a control freak about the state of your carpets and house in general - like I am !! :)

Put the kid in one of those small blowup pools where it can mess to it's hearts content :D

baby no2 you have tiles or laminate.
say cheers to your couches as well those aren't going to look decent till the kids have left home I reckon.
and if you have cloth car upholstery... well you should already know about that.
btw the word is posit - a back-formation of deposit.

Living room furniture and car upholstery are both leather - yay!!! WIPE AND GO ! :D

All over the baby books and on the net they talk of posset .... hence my spelling. Thanks for the correction.

It's scaring me too Mila, but there's no return for me now !
 
Our son had some reflux until the age of about 10 months.
Friends of ours's son had reflux until the age of 3 :wtf: would just be standing there and all of a sudden ... gush. :sick:

Weird but true - my son brought every type of formula milk up - tried cow's milk and...it stopped. Something in formula just did not agree with him.

And there's a lot more when it comes out of a toddler.
