Happy hunting!

What a strange way to start a comparative thread, with the OP not posting his own results :wtf:

Not sure if it's good or bad.

Dude - please stop killing my threads with useless links... what did I ever do to you? For once I would like to say something without someone killing it in the first place. Really man? do you look at every single link on this forum and tell all mybb members that there is already a thread available? then you tell me what is the purpose of mybroadband? So that I must read all the time and never say anything nor state anything? (I am so fed up with this behavior).
Here's a whole thread dedicated to 3DMark Vantage scores: http://www.phforums.co.za/f45/3d-mark-vantage-scores-34631/

Also note that you have to disable PhysX on the 2nd graphics card, so that the CPU would do the PhysX calculations instead.
PS thanks for the tip.

Jeesh Nokkie. It's not necessary to go ballistic just because I posted a link to other RSA guys' results...

Here's the best that I've managed to do with 3DMark Vantage 1.0.2 using default settings:
P28469 (GPU 30379 & CPU 23951)

Specs:
Core i7 940 at 3.95GHz (19x 208MHz) @ 1.4V
2x MSI Cyclone GTX 460 OC 1GB at 878/1756/2230 @ 1.025V

sorry about that -but I sometimes get many replies like this... sorry...

Thanks. I can't manage to overclock my i7 940 (Engineering Sample) anything higher than 3.95GHz with HT enabled. I might give it a try once more, because since I've done that benchmark, I've added 2 more fans (to CPU + front of case) - here is how it looks with the side panel taken off.
I can increase the CPU score to 55000 just by letting the 2nd graphics card to the PhysX calculations, which is why the people at Prophecy Forums said that you should disable it.

Btw Nokkie, where are your results :D

sweet rig pada.. I'm trying to upload the snapshot to mybroadband pictures but it seems to be "not" responding... unless i'm doing something wrong.

Nokkie: I think your GTX 580 was used with the PhysX stuff, because your CPU score is way too high for that CPU. I would've expected something in the vicinity of 40k for the CPU score without overclocking and about 50k with overclocking to like 4GHz.

I have to say that 25k GPU score is very impressive for a single card without any overclocking!

thanks pada :P are there any other settings I should change with 3dmark vantage?
