Power Adapter for special photographic light

I made a boo boo last night and somehow shorted a specialised power adapter for a very powerful studio light and can't seem to fin one online. Please if anyone can tell me where to get one of these I would be most appreciative!

Specs: AC/DC ADapter Input: 100-240VAC ~ 50/60Hz Output: DC 13.5V - 5A

The DC is creating the problem - there are plenty of 12 V out there but as I said this specialised!

DC is not specialized. If it can deliver 13,5V at 5A, it will be fine. 12VDC supplies might deliver 13,5VDC, but some better than others. 5A is where the problem might lie, as that is not a small PSU. Care to post a pic of the faulty unit?

Why not get it repaired?
 
Hi there folks thanks for the response! we are currently possibly being assisted by a connection in the lighting biz - otherwise maybe the fix the fuse route is next - found that out this morning! And I will post pic as well if needs be! Thank you!
 
As long as the DC output under load of 5 Amps does not exceed 12 V, and current is rated 5A or more, any well-regulated AC>DC converter will do the job.
The 13.5 V will drop to 12 V when loaded by the 5 A load.
If incandescent (filament) lighting, regulation is less critical than semiconductor (LED array) lighting.
The PSU may have a re-settable fuse (PTC) inside.
As the post dates back to 4 months ago, you have probably sorted it by now.
I decided to post this tip anyway as a general guide.
