Power interruption in the Meadowdale area

Power has been off in the Meadowdale suburb in Edenvale since 01h30 this morning.

I wonder if it will only be restored by the municipality sometime tomorrow, seeing as today is a public holiday?

Power was finally restored at 12h15 - only 10 hours & 45 mins later!

Here we lost power Friday 9 pm and was restored Sunday 8:15 pm.... 47+ hours
We average about 35 odd hours a month no electricity.
Nice and peaceful until the 100 and 1 generators start up

Once again, the power has been off since 11h00 this morning. Apparently it is an ESKOM cable fault & there is no indication as yet as to when power will be restored again.

Power was FINALLY restored at 20h40.
