Power Inverter Installation For Caravan

Hi guys.
My caravan does not have a battery setup. On the long road I want the fridge to run while I am towing long distances.
I installed the National Luna Battery Manager Kit to keep the caravan battery charged while driving.
My current planned setup:
Vehicle battery --> Intelligent Solenoid --> Caravan Battery --> UPS/Inverter --> 230v Fridge/DB
Can anybody help what size UPS/Inverter I will require for this to work.
The fridge is from The Refrigerator Company, ECO 1 Model TS 280, 230v 50Hz I=0.93A

You'll need to know what the max inrush current of your fridge is. I don't think 0.93 is the right number?

so the fridge uses ~230W, lets say it is bad and has an inrush current of 7 times, you would need a ~1500W inverter to handle it and that is probably an overkill.

So I hooked up the good old Fluke. Start up give 6.05A for less than a second. Then it's running at 1.03A for the rest of the time.

Should add that the fridge was off for couple weeks.

your fridge is gonna hate you
that looks like a standard home fridge
the compressor cannot handle the bumpy roads
you need a danfoss compressor fridge like those found in ENGEL, Snowmaster, National Luna etc
the camping fridges that is.

PS Most home fridges peak at 1000W - 1500W when the compressor kicks in and then goes and settles at around 120W (give or take)
And they HATE modified sine wave inverters, any motor does
You need a Pure Sine Wave Inverter

How will I determine that?

Use an ammeter in series with a peak hold function?

12V fridge is a better option methinks.
The point about modified sine is a good one.
