On standard residential DB you can safely put 8 PCs. It starts tripping at ~11. That is because of earth leakage though.
Most schools seem to have 3 phase, but not always convenient access to the phases. I know mine did. Go ask the school if they have rooms outfitted w/ those red power plugs that don't have earth leakage protectors on them. We had a room like that at my school and hosted like 50 PCs there without needing to modify anything. Then again the electrician who wired the room has a rep for doing things the right way, so YMMV. Without red plugs its gonna be a major schlepp if not impossible (Illegal to just bypass the earth leakage w/ wire).
Also remember most plugs, cables & extensions etc are 15A, so rather not pile >7 PCs onto one.
