Foxcon G41mxe
Inte q8300 2.5
6gb ram 1333mhz
Ati radeon hd 5770 1gb

But the pc goes in sleep mode when you put it on,you can't see anything

ok so you are saying it does not post ....power on self test ???

POST (Power on Self Test) is the screen that shows when the PC was switched on - where you are asked to press like F2 to enter the BIOS.

I'd assume that your PC passes the POST, as well as showing the Windows startup logo?

If that is the case, see if you can boot up in Safe Mode (press F8 just before Windows starts), and then we can continue from there...

It could be a driver issue, or that your PSU isn't good enough any more. How many hard drives do you have?

when you switch on the computer what does it do
normally when you switch on the computer it does a self test ( a computer that is working properly that is )
when it post's you can normally see the mother board logo while it is testing
POST = power on self test

No the pc goes on,fans turning, and then it goes in sleep mode,no post or anything, just that, and my friend's pc is doing the exact same, you see he had my extra mobo, foxconn G41mxe and I had the intel g41,but I recently got the quadcore but I can't overclock on the intel,so we swapped motherboards, but then my pc began giving these problems, and gis worked fine with the intel, soi we swapped back, but now both does the same!now we don't knbow what to do!!

ok from what you have said now you have 2 computers and neither work
sounds like your power supply is not working put the board you took out your friends pc back in his pc see if it still works

Already been done,nope stil failure

I'd say, remove your graphics card and connect the screen to the onboard VGA port.

Make sure that you've connected the CPU's 4 (or 4+4) pin power connector, and that you've tightened the heatsink (the arrows point in the direction that you loosen it).

If you've taken off the heatsink, I would recommend that you re-apply new thermal paste for the long run. For short tests, using old thermal paste would be OK, as long as you don't stress your CPU for long periods!

Oh, and if the case has a speaker, connect that to the motherboard too, because the beep sounds will help you diagnose the problem!

best to take both boards out the cases and power supply's put the mother board on anti static foam or dry wood and connect the power supply ( that you think is working ) and monitor switch on the power then short the pins for the on switch very briefly on the mother board see if it posts

Do NOT switch on the power when you have it on an anti-static bag, because the anti-static bag can conduct electricity.

No dice, still nothing took the pc out and shorted the switch, what can be the cause?

You tried both the power supply's ???
the reason for taking the boards out the case is some times there is metal or some thing metal touching the MOBO causing problems
now just make sure you have 2 power cables connected to the MOBO and you are briefly shorting the right 2 power pins
monitor is connected to MOBO and monitor is on

Had similar problem with almost identical hardware: replaced DualCore cpu with QuadCore, Foxconn G41mxe board, AMD5770, 500W psu & system would not post. Solved by resetting CMOS(instructions in motherboard manual) - worked perfectly thereafter...
