Power to my CP box?

The mistake I made when Vumatel came to install my fiber is the have the cpe box installed on the outside wall inside my garage. Convenient for them but a schlep for me when I then wired it via about 20m of Cat6 to Tenda Router above the TV's etc., in the family room.
Especially when I now, with all the loadshedding wanted to power both units from a Riello 600VA ups I have available inside.
Then thought of using a static POE pair to pipe the 12v through to the garage!
Found a poe injector kit for R49 at DC3 electronics but although I measure 12.03v in the garage, the cpe box does not boot when I plug the power into it!
Can't think that the load will let the power drop so much that the cpe does not boot!!!
Any ideas??

Is that a PC UPS ? Don't recommend using that as a backup.

Is the CPE PoE? Then it should be 15 or 24V.

Then just get an UltraLAN Mini UPS that supports that and be done with it.

R500-R600.

If it’s not PoE then just buy two Mini UPS. One for the router one for the ONT/CPE.

Did you measure it in-line while the ont is "booting" to see how low it drops?

But in any case, +1 on the suggestions to simply get a mini ups like a gizzu/netology. What is the model number of the cpe in question here?
