I'm with you there. Same goes for people saying the grid will collapse - it most definitely won't- and I do believe Eskom and energy experts who have concurred with Eskom over that. But people want to believe JuJu... so ya.

Could be the reason? It is one of the reasons, but the biggest is all the other things like geysers and fridges. Things that are used to being able to run all day, now being off 4 to 6 hours a day coming back online. Also lower stages you have up to 10 blocks countrywide coming on, as it seems most muncipalities are on this whole even hour thing, with very few on the odd hours.
