Put on more clothes, using electricity for heat is stupid, also could cause some health issues.
I would love to use electricity for heat, cooking food and all kinds of stuff like doing work, playing a game. The problem is there isn't any electricity to be used. I am actually considering starting the generator. The air fryer works well with the generator. I am thinking a hot meal will make me feel a bit better. I have a 5Kw generator. Another thing is the air fryer works fast so 30min and my food is cooked.

Should be running the gennie then for cooking food, doing work or playing a game. I mean isn't this the circumstances you bought it for?
Yeah an air fryer can be great, I've noticed mine can peak at 1600w but actually averages out at 500

Yea for real now no joke, Air Fryer is just awesome. The generator's power isn't very clean and my PC's PSU blew twice and it burned out a laptop power brick. I did change the regulator and it works perfectly within spec now but I don't want to risk it a PSU is very expensive.

For some of the users on here :)

What gennie is this? Cause I had a 2800 Omega and ran my PC off it without any issues, even ran fridges and such.
What about a cheap UPS between the PC and the gennie?

Before solar, I had a generator + the bigger brother of these UPS. It's one of the few ones that can actually take in generator input and filter it to pure sine wave, but you lose a little on efficiency.

37GW without loadshitting.
No it was 33GW demand with loadshedding
-Peak in Peak sent out: 27 650 MW

This is what Eskom had to send out, in order to meet that
33 370 - 3771 - 447 - 42 - 1458
Though I am now not certain how they kept a buffer, was that via the ipp buffer?

Forecast for today looks terrible, marginally better then yesterday but we gonna be burning the midnight oil. Might see an increase in stage though

I'm confused.

The demand is way more than ekscom produces. Can't they just stop stealing and produce more?

Props to them actually sending out the numbers. They must be reading this thread.

They have been since they started doing it, the only thing they don't differentiate out is the OCGT generation and it's effect.
