Power was supposed to be off from 4 to 6.30pm, but did not go off. What devil worship is this.
 
Next weekend's threat seems to have vanished, but as the Axpert so wisely says it's just a guesstimate until we get there.

Yup the further ahead we look the less accurate we are :-).
 
Warm Saturday peak higher than sub-zero cold Friday, missing data for Koeberg and Moz:

This shows how resources were used to build-up the demand over the past 7 days, and it includes both generation and demand side resources that Eskom has contracts with.

You do know with how hot this summer is going to be, it's going to be probably worse than winter with the load from ACs + "out of winter maintenance"?

That part's a worry but hoping they're making enough progress - like the sudden new capacity we had at the start of winter.

The AC's... nah, we overestimate our personal impact.
