I don't think we've ever needed stage 6 for the 5am-4pm period, maybe on super bad days, but not as much as Eskom has done.

Man, they should not do this. Didn't know the stage was bumped down. I was busy making coffee at work and the switchover from genie to normal power causes a brief drop in power. I thought the genie gave it just as I was watching that sweet honey like flow of espresso joy flowing into my cup.
What a relief it was when power came back on and the joy kept flowing!
