Nah poweralert must have glitched, there is no way they lost 5gw overnight

Yeah it must've cause 5GW is 10% of the fleet gone in a blink but that is also Tuesdays numbers, unless there is massive flooding in Mpumalanga and limpopo where the majority of the fleet is. But it doesn't look like the expected 3 units came back like they wanted on Tuesday, the numbers are actually 1GW lower.

I'm going to find a hole to stick my head into a hole and believe that it's a bug, because if things were this bad you would think eskom would be panicking at this stage...

Poweralert does indicate it was updated at 5pm yesterday?

Well it did update, not great at all, but it's not 21GW

I see one of the three Kusile units currently out will come back in about two weeks (14th October) according to Eskom's presentation yesterday. The other two will comeback in November which should provide a nice buffer.
