My condolences. The one I was on blew back in 2016... we did however have a generator that got us through.
But as I recall, not one fark given, took their sweet time to get a new sub, because they have no money and suppliers won't supply because they don't get paid. And on top of that the legendary CP incompetence. I feel for you.

Yeah it's been 8 days now, last update was contractor has gone to get the sub

Yeah, also have the generator to do top up on cloudy days like today. Also gas stove for cooking most things.
On fully sunny days life almost goes on as normal

Had it not been for all those alternative energy sources you would have been really stuck.

Let's trust they will get their A into G by end of next week.

Not much they can do. But find some money under Cyril’s couch to get alternative energy.

Next door put up solar on the weekend. Everyone doing it these days.
 
Unusual turn of events from Eskom this weekend, somehow allowing the LS break to extend through most of it.
Can only think their image is starting to play the more important role with 2024 looming. Upcoming long weekend may now be a decent one.
