There is a community medic who streams on Tiktok and she has a big following... she did an interview with Sky News a while ago and in there a few things she mention and it hit me that day...We often bitch and complain about the power outages because no TV or no coffee or whatever. Tonight I’ve been made aware that to some the consequences are deadly.
From our local community. FML it’s a hard read.
And in response to someone asking about hospitals or clinics being exempt.
****. This. Government.
And **** anyone who votes for them.
1) Often they rushing to a scene to help someone and the cell towers are down and they can't get hold of the person and therefore cannot locate them.
2) Traffic due to traffic lights being out and causing traffic jams.. They often don't make it in time
and probably the most scariest one she said was how often paramedics get called to come ASAP to hospitals to perform CPR and resuscitate people because generators and inverters have failed
