WTF, 10am and 6pm load shedding in Kenilworth today!?

Steenbras pumped storage must be on holiday over the weekend? It's not like CoCT has a water shortage this month...

Who knows the number of breakdowns is lower, perhaps they just want to punish us

Our area has had a rollercoaster:
First 6 months we had no loadshedding, while everyone else did. Then we had the normal CoCT 1 or 2 stages lower. Then we had Stage 6 for 24/7. Recently we had Stage 1 every 4th day.

To suddenly have two slots in one day while 'only' on Stage 1/3 brings back bad memories...

Same area as me. We shouldn't complain too much when the rest of the country gets much worse. Like last week, Monday - Friday there was no LS for area 11 (10pm-midnight slot was missed). But yes, the first time we've had two LS sessions for a couple of weeks.

Yeah, I saw Annette's bulletin. Just weird that there was so much diesel used on thursday compared to all the other days when nothing was really different.

This week is also going to be kuk for the solar guys so may put added demand onto the grid aswell.

True, but still curious the difference between Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.
