I guess they would ramp or down on maintenance based on based on demand. Is maintenance supposed to be fixed over a few months?

AFAIK maintenance takes weeks not days. Doesn't it take days just to synchronise a generator to the grid?

The planned maintenance schedule is usually for the entire year, on a week-by-week basis (there is some document floating around where you can see it). But they can adjust that number if, for example, they really need the power.

I'm sure maintenance includes small isolated jobs. What I think we can call a fact by now though is there's an endless stream of bullshyte from them too, best to just get on with our lives and take it easy until it actually hits the fan.
