Agreed, Vanderbijlpark where my parents stay has probably the most confusing schedule. In their area, they have less loadshedding on stage 6 than on stage 4. Also the schedule doesn't rotate, so every week you get the same hours, some areas will never have loadshedding after 4pm while others get 2 four hour sessions back to back on a Sunday.

Isn't that why Eskom is taking over Erkhuleni?

Ah frak it's the East to me :-P same as everything out of Cape Town is JHB. But yeah City Power sticks to their schedules, they don't even bother to try implement any mitigations either anymore, as everytime they mention something Eskom just says no.

Yep, everything's on the sly now, everywhere. Some of it to our advantage too though, looks like it.
But I've said enough.

I dunno, it honestly feels like the rest of the country gets it easy, 2x 2 hour slots in stage 6... like wtf is that even... I just need to keep my cool for a bit longer and then I'm freeeeeee

yup then you see the Cape Townians moan on Twitter when they do get proper stage 6, like what do you mean 2 4 hour sessions? Like was stage 6 always like this and you're like yes sunshine, yes it was.

My area is Eskom direct and we have always been hammered hard during stage 6 is almost always 11-12.5 hours a day...

But CoCT are trying to take over my area to get more money...
