It seems to be we will be in LS for a long while - it’s been continuous just about for a month.

Though, my little area in my suburb has only had load shedding once for two hours or whatever, since the start of September.

There is a broken switch somewhere that Eskom has to sort out.

Yeah. Treasury are likely to highly prioritise bail outs for Eskom ahead of other SOEs given its crucial role in the economy.
 
Mydorpie UPDATE: Stage 2 until midnight on Sunday night, then stage 2 from 4pm until midnight from Monday until Wednesday.
 
Looks like they lost capacity on friday already, so why announce stage 1, then no stages, then back to stage 2 in 12 hours? Window dressing...

They burning diesel like there's no tomorrow so they can argue to NERSA for their price increase. "You see NERSA, look at how much money we have to spend. We need our 30% increase."
