10000% this is my thinking as well.

Loadshedding impacts everyone, hell the employee that cleans the coffee machines was complaining to me this morning how she can't live like this... I really believe this is a case of bad thing for now means good thing later...

I really believe the ANC is going to get hammered in the next election - and when you hear people like the employees who clean the coffee machine saying "Cape Town doesn't have it as bad as the rest of the country" ... I believe there is hope.

Oh yes, they're most definitely going to get a beating. Won't even make 50%.

The problem is the unemployed unwashed masses outnumber everyone else. Hopefully they stay at home because they're angry with their R350 pittance.

Oh Crap, Talkinjg about South, seems like they wanna "buy" half of Koeberg's production

Looks like the market has spoken. It's not good enough to have cheap electricity anymore, now they need cheap green electricity. Maybe they should build their own nuclear plant in Richard's Bay.

What a cool idea.

That would be a whole level drop and Eskom would actually be able to sell the power for over the 17c per KW South32 is paying.

I'll do a naked song and a dance if they get less than 10%.... and nope, there will not be any free mindscrub and eyebleach, you can bring your own. Times are hard.

Hold off on the dance recitals. I think ANC will remain in the 40% post elections.

I doubt it's 17c anymore as they signed a new deal a couple of years ago.

You have got to be kidding...

Sassa money is the last money that will dry up in SA. There is still plenty of fat to trim off the middle-class. Sassa will keep voters ANC till the end.
The sheer lack of power and collapse of the post office means the grant money will probably be inaccessible anyway lol
