They probably think "turning it off and on again" in this instance will fix the problem.Or they're not doing the maintenance properly, just a wishy-washy job, add some spit 'n polish and hope for the best...
Or maybe all the stuffing up is being done intentionally, so that newMaybe all the planned maintenance is being done by cadres etc and is actually making stuff more unreliable?
I don’t really know how. If you are an employee , it’s already deducted from your salary. Vats already added to what you buy. I assume you can refuse to pay your monthly elec bill but they just cut your powerCan we have a tax revolt already?

That's been my thinking since they started complaining of diesel shortages. Assuming the published cost to the economy of 4 billion a day, how in earth are they even still debating just funding more diesel?Kind of weird that the numbers people - the Treasury - can't do simple maths. Higher stages of load shedding cost the economy much more than providing more money for diesel.
Whatever is leftI shudder to think what the cost of stage 8 will be
I think I as far back as 2020 they’ve been saying stage 8 might happen that year. Maybe this year.![]()

We literally are one step away from stage 8. We know how they hate odd numbers and skip the odd number stages. Only because it’s weekend is what’s saving us at the moment.I think I as far back as 2020 they’ve been saying stage 8 might happen that year. Maybe this year.

Stage 6 + 1 step = 8.That article is paywalled - what's this one step?
It's just you. It's always 24 hours behind reality. They update it in the afternoon usually, although sometimes only after 48 hours. It's probably like this so they can make up the numbers as they go.Is it just me, or is it a bit weird that dataportal hasn't been updated yet? Data is still all for the 12
They are just testing us to see how much we can handle, Like a lot of us saw stage 2 as the worse thing ever when it started but now it's has turned into a blessing.Love how they are "desperately trying to avoid anything higher than stage 6", forget about trying to avoid stage 6; stage 6 is just life now...
