Code Red...Sounds exciting.> African National Congress (ANC) secretary general Fikile Mbalula says the energy crisis has been described as a “house on fire” and is now “code red”.
Sounds about right.

And they are still only sending the morning shiftStill off after power outage since yesterday from about 11:45 am. Seems as if it's a regular thing now about every 10 days that we have a 24 hour+ outage.![]()

Yep, councillor posted an update just now where the so called manager at city power just replied saying that he's sure the morning shift will attend to it...And they are still only sending the morning shift
Same here. We had 12h and 17h outages so far this year.
We got so used to load shedding that we forgot how it ****s up sub stations and with the high volume we are getting now it's really starting to show.
Eskom's in a self destruction spiral.

I'm sorry.Called staff this morning and told them not to come into work this morning. Would be a complete waste of time to run the equipment. Can't wait to be out of this place in April
The stuff still standing will probably survive the next flood aswell. What infrastructure?
None of its been fixed since the last time.
I'm out of SA with my family in April, I'm more upset for the rest of the staff who lose out.I'm sorry.
We haven't had water for 3ish weeks at this point.Water pumps are also failing now; many parts of the city are without water.
I'm also out later this year. Either spend a bar going off grid or head off to a brighter tomorrow, guess which option won...I'm out of SA with my family in April, I'm more upset for the rest of the staff who lose out.
