Temps are starting to drop. First night where I was in bed shivering this Autumn, before pulling out the winter duvets and blanket...

Shadows are also becoming longer. Wonder how many are going to find out they have shading on their PV panels.

Those who didn't plan? Sadly mine will get worse the longer the bloody council doesn't come and trim these trees, I'm getting to the point of just going to get someone to do it.

i guess this winter any form of electrical heating is a super luxury thing to have...

I suspect another gas shortage like last year. <-- Reason my full winter supply is already sorted.

On subject just note:

My PV is better in Winter than Summer. Zero shading all year round, which helps.

Minister of electricity fixed Eskom by chatting with engineers...
It struck me today that he could be the reason they are holding loadshedding to lower stages. Won't look good if the boss can't find one working power plant.

Lucky you. I'm still finding the nights very hot.

The last official stages alert from Eskom I can find on FB or Twitter is from the 21st... anyone got the latest or did Eskom stop issuing those?
I don't want to hear from them. I'm expecting bad news and that means I'll have my night time load shedding.

Or as we were told in January they have improved EAF?
