Nope this is City Power, the most useless entity to exist. They don't even work nights anymore
 
So now I need to try figure out which site is affecting me sigh as my area isn't listed in their update, one of them has been down 21 hours and they are like nah we will get to it once we're done with this other area first.

Wat? They only have skeleton staff on night and weekend shifts due to some rubbish excuse of budgetary constraints while collecting massive amounts in rates, taxes and services while harassing rate payers that are a day late but providing very little of what is paid for.

They blamed it on budget, I'm guessing even day staff is short, as we've been out 15 hours now, apparently one section will only be looked at when another unrelated one is done.

We had this recently, the staff shortages nonsense while we as rate payers must kak en betaal :rolleyes:

This... it drives me mad. People sit back and think someone else will report the problem.

It's such a bad apathetic way to live, expecting other people to do things - in our area group, every time there is a fault, people post "power's out", but when you ask if they've reported it ... "no, I'm sure someone else will".

Even problems on the road, people complaining about street lights not working, but when you ask them if they've reported it... "no, someone else will I'm sure".

Do you know if your ward is run by the DA? I find messaging my DA counsellor helps.

Our DA ward councillor is about as useful as a bag of ice in Siberia, I've whatsapped him the reference number at 8 his phone just says I'm currently unavailable please send me the details, which I did.
 
Back on topic it looks really close for tonight :-( even with stage 4.
