What industrial equipment?

All of it, and also residential stuff as well, but that would make less of a dent really.

Machinery and equipment built in the last 15 years would be massively more efficient than older machinery since there has been a huge global focus on energy efficiency which in many ways has saved this country from considerably more loadshedding in all likelihood.

I could argue fokkal has been built in the last 15 years, just closures. The only thing I would say is more efficient is the LED light. Moving from 100W to 5 W would make a dent, but lighting isn't such a big factor. Yes, there are slightly more efficient fridges and washing machines, so what, the lower demand is because our economy is nose diving. That is all.

You would be very very wrong if you argued that.

Fsck tons has been built in the last 15 years, and much equipment within existing enterprises has been replaced/upgraded over the time as well.

Give me a practical example of upgraded/new industrial equipment that is more efficient.

The ol power alert actually looks a bit better, seems in reality we'd need only have stage 4 if there was reserves.

Almost any industrial equipment bought and installed in the last 15 years would be more efficient than its previous versions..

Mining equipment, Plastic moulding machinery, etc etc.

Not by much though. Also, how many mines and smelters and refineries have closed down in those 15 years?

The "hits" just keep coming from this fscking retard.
Because they technically didn't, they did load curtailment and load shedding, in the past they never said that. Also when they used to put ILS and VPS down when we were very short no one jumped up and down and said they shedding at higher levels.

100%... but for our Minister of Leccy not to be able to "explain" that in a simple fashion is what I'm referencing.

He's been in the position for a few months now, things like Load Shedding and Load Curtailment etc should be simple for him to explain to the journalists.
