It's been on 32 minutes now![]()
See in my area if there is a multihour power failure, you'll still get shedded when you're scheduled. Hell they've literally brought power back after 20 hours of no power 10 minutes before load shedding and we got shed.We only had 2 hours of load shedding yesterday. We only had about 12hours of power in total the previous 2 days combined though.

Probably on purpose. They haven’t posted it.
Well I mean sort ofYou mean you guys actually have a schedule?
That would rock.
None at all, parts of my area are still of yet we've been on since 6amThere is no consistency by me. We have also had shedding after issues. We don't even know what happened the 2 days we were off for as nothing but the big failures get reported anymore.
I'm guessing we were only left on because they haven't fixed the issues as yet.
Waiting for the selfish public to turn off their geysersYesterday we had a 4 hour spell of loadshedding. power came back on time but tripped 3 times before it was on for good. In total we were off for 7 hours. The system is taking strain & not designed to be on/off constantly.
We have been on stage 5/6 since last week. Why are they taking so long to bring the tripped stations back to service?
I mean they've only had us on load shedding for 7 months constantly, why aren't they showing any form of urgency.Yesterday we had a 4 hour spell of loadshedding. power came back on time but tripped 3 times before it was on for good. Yep, veery suspicious. We have been on stage 5/6 since last week. Why are they taking so long to bring the tripped stations back to service?
Because other stations inevitably trip when others are fixed, resulting in a net gain of precisely zero.Yesterday we had a 4 hour spell of loadshedding. power came back on time but tripped 3 times before it was on for good. This raises another issue - we are constantly told there are stations on planned maintenance. But they soon break down again. Is it that the stations are in such a bad state that repairs no longer work or is it just bad workmanship?

Bit of both, throw in a bit of corruption and sabotage and you have a perpetual ****up.
The fact that they have made 0 progress the last six months or so should be more than enough evidence that this will never get fixed, it will only get worse.
That's actually a fair point; there has been literally zero progress in six months.
