Looks like coal is back to 20GW
Koeberg is still 600MW out of 900.
Moz Imports also low at 700 out of 1300.

That should actually allow a drop to stage 4, which would also see demand be lower.

Demand is due to colder temperatures, I dont know why some are saying it is due to higher load shedding
colder weather where? Also due to historical reasons, at the same time in the past few years demand was 1 to 3GW lower. Temps now aren't low enough to be breaking 33GW. Also if you understood how people work and load shifting you'd understand why demand at 6pm is higher.

I am aware that demand is higher for this time of year, its concerning as I mentioned a few pages back, however it cannot be due to higher LS stages, if so, the demand figures are not accurate

Yes it is due to higher stages of LS, not sure how many times it can be explained.

It was pretty chill last week...

Temperatures are dropping, dipping in to the high single digit temperatures in the mornings in our area.

You need to go a few pages back, read the discussions about it.

Not enough to have people whip out their heaters, though a lot of people are now seeing more smog and smoke in the poorer areas, so they are going back to wood for heating.

Put my jersey on for the first time on Tues. morning as I was going to queue for my license renewal, got too hot quite quickly.

I'm wearing jeans... This isn't something I would normally do while WFH :-P

My apologies, I am running our wood fire place, didn't know our area was considered poor, I'll have to work harder.

Because the **** is confidential which is why they shared the one pic as expiring but I am going to ask them to send it again so I can study it a bit on my PC. I'll need to promise not to share it with you traitors.
You can always use screen capture to keep a copy

Hahaha :-P in general where there has been less pollution over certain areas it's showing more smog.

Not buying your low supply increased demand analysis, we are not talking cows and mielies here
Demand went up after Easter weekend, Easter and Christmas are the only times the country stops all production and manufacturing
Add in the colder temperatures that is more likely what caused the increased the demand, which is now lower and normalising
