I have my moments. But that isn't reading comprehension - that's me being lazy to proof read what I type. Typos happen...

Also, the post was not aimed at you.
Wasn't meant to criticise, I was remembering earlier as well so seemed appropriate ;- )

@Pak Fa Fui is just extreme, plenty like him around.

Demand is higher but we were shedding stage 2 and 4 by the looks of it

Can't paste 2022s but it was warmer, while Johannesburg was colder. So weather factors 2022 the demand seems legit, not now.
Also factor in more backup power supplies coming online after shedding is restored.

Where did you find 18 April?

Parts of the article about turning geysers off... we're in two minds about it.

It could help IMO, we stopped leaving our geyser on most of the time years ago and that's saved us plenty.
But this individual control thing is a worry, especially in anc hands :(

Those devices are already installed in a lot of homes. Some work - a lot don't.

Also, winter is approaching fast. I think whatever they plan on doing, would need to happen in the next 4 weeks.

Why it plays no factor in load shedding.
