Constant Stage 6 for the next 3 months will make for an interesting 2024. I wonder if people will 'forget' if things slightly improve next year, like the chimney getting fixed and so on.
Lets just be thankful its not stage 7 yet...

Yeah it’s 10-20% whatever that is.
Here is a fairly recent article that sheds a little bit of light (pardon the pun) on load curtailment:

  • Stage 1 and stage 2: companies are required to reduce 10% of their power consumption
  • Stage 3: companies are required to reduce 15% of their power consumption
  • Stage 4: companies are required to reduce 20% of their power consumption

At a very rough guesstimate, I'd say level 4 load curtailment might work out to about 500 MW or so.

The number is right there, if it was 2500MW it wouldn't be stage 6,as the 6550 would be actually 4000 removed.

Yeah I do wonder the damage it’s doing to the ANC.

More interesting no updates on when Stage 6 ends…
It won't. There is no way they can drop with the demand we are seeing. Stage 6 is here to stay.

I think with the number of job losses that will happen over the next short term, I highly doubt it. Will be a miracle if we don't have riots mid winter. My company won't survive, revenue lost is insane YTD.
