That was probably a problem with the old forum software. The habit of locking threads is a spill over from then and overeager moderation.
Old software? Was closed Oct 22 last year.
See if you can find any that well-beat the 11 220

Ok if we burnt all our resources, which it seems we've been doing, tonight should've only been stage 4, but we will see.

I pray for stage 4 this weekend, my schedule is bullshit
Denied.
They're still burning diesel so they'll use the potential drop in demand to turn off OCGTs and replenish other reserves. I wonder if they'll run them if demand remains high due to colder weather to avoid going above stage 6.

Quite a few posted around that they got skiipped recently, us too. Something odd maybe going on.
I was turned on early on Tuesday, would be nice to be skipped tonight, driving to scouts

President Cyril Ramaphosa says the new electricity ministry has made several inroads to prevent this including industry, labour, original equipment manufacturers and the diplomatic community. eNCA's Ayesha Ismail reports. #dstv403 #questionthinkact
CAPE TOWN - There’s still no clear indication from the president as to when blackouts will end, except to say the end is in sight.
Surprising since South Africa has endured various forms of power cuts for nearly sixteen years.
President Cyril Ramaphosa assures South Africans though that the new Electricity Minister and his Mineral Resources and Energy counterparts are hard at work to put power cuts behind us.
He fielded questions in Parliament on Thursday where blackouts stole the show.
“A great deal of work is being done as much as we are going through challenges of continuing load-shedding," Ramaphosa said.
"I do believe that the end should be in sight soon as all these efforts will bear fruit.”
