Perhaps. According to Brian, the ANC are holding back so they can be the hero when it suits them.
They sure manage to counteract endless sabotage, up to their magical S6 figure and never worse. But seldom much better either. Odd things going on, for sure.

If I'm wrong it's all the left wing throttling them as they see fit.

There's an article that explains why grid management is actually excellent at Eskom, top equipment and comms. and most are professionals, one of the few things they do right.
Yes, but that can only do so much. If the frequency drops too low because they haven't created the stage 16 levels for people to follow because they are waiting for 2024 then everything trips.

Possible, sure.

If that were true, coal would be way above 20GW as its winter now.

No, they don't want us doing better... yet.

Remember this madness in current form started just after last winter, when things should have been easier.

so why is it the Schedules are meaningless? times not adhered to, sometimes skipped entirely, explain that to me.
If you meant why it doesn't throw the grid off with all the mistakes - seems they're that good at balancing, well experienced in the problems certainly.

Wishful thinking. The ANC are clueless at this point. Since the strike, things have never recovered because they probably need spares that take years to order which they can't because they don't have money because they're too busy washing hands with whiskey.

Fair comment.
Certainly there's more than one interest group in the anc, so at least tugs of war going on for sure.
And the left wing are quite well organised.

I'll take a break

Exactly why I say a total collapse is highly unlikely.

Neither wing knows what maintenance is.
