Hi All,

Looking at moving to PowerFlex.
Just a few questions I cant find an answer on.

1. Can you port your number in? - do I have to go from contract to pre paid to flex or can I move smoothly.
2. Does it support Roaming?
3. Does it support OneNumber for my wearable

Not yet.

Because they're assholes.

It's a completely unnecessary phase, but they're HELLBENT on not providing any flexibility with their flex package.
I suppose when MTN lunched flex they were the same, will have to wait and see then.

My contract up for renewal only in march so I got time to see how it develops, I was on MTN for one contact cycle, but have been on Vodacom for the rest, can say I prefer Vodacom so want to stay even if there is a slight premium.
Saying that no good looking options on there red contracts at the moment.

Here are the answers https://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/shopping/powerflex with the T&C https://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/powerflex

Just do your due diligance via the Vodacom website and no need for forums then Dstnothingon functions well.

Finally!!

We can keep our existing numbers and move to Vodacom PowerFlex!

@DStvNothingOn This all looks like a good product BUT this has PROMOTIONAL PRICING....!!!!
The question is what happens after the PROMOTIONAL DATE......!!!
Will the price increase YES/NO......?????
Vodacom was approached for an answer, they refused to answer which indicates - Let the buyer beware....!!!!!

Promotional Period
  1. This offer will be available from 1st of November 2024 until 30th of April 2025.
  2. Regardless of the Promotional Period, Vodacom reserve the exclusive right to modify the Promotional Period's duration, either shortening or extending it, or to entirely withdraw the Offer, provided they inform you in advance. Please visit www.vodacom.co.za for any further detail regarding Vodacom PowerFlex.

To be fair, they have just been moving the end of the promo pricing for two years. With the yearly mid-contract price raises, I am happy to move to a month-to-month plan. What's the difference anymore?

@DStvNothingOn All duly noted but the old school principal of "predictive costing" raises many questions in general daily life etc.

The facts indicate that ALL networks in their pricing strategies do not repect "prodictive costing" by the PROMOTIONAL pricing systems unfortunately.
