Has anyone here had a char powerleveled? I must admit that I am seriously considering doing it on a new char. The process to level 70 on my lock was painful to say the least, and the idea of doing it on a second toon just wants to make me hurt puppies...

If anyone have done this, do they know if there is a South African group that does it? I wont mind waiting a bit longer for it if its local...

Everyone plays a game differently and for different reasons. I personally think GW has one up on WoW with their PvP only chars. No need to play the char to max level to do the part that you enjoy most.

i would power level my char myself with the aid of some other lvl 70s the game does go really quick

took me round about 6-8 days of game time to lvl from 1 -70.

If you got the cash to let someone else power level you then go for it, But i will stress the point if someone else does power lvl a toon for you and when that particular toon is lvl 70 you wont be 100% fimilar with your shinny new lvl 70 unless you have played that class before.

Ive played and raided with payed for chars,They were real noobs tbh and didnt understand there class.....wipe fest!

Nah lettting some one else powerlevel your toon is so nUb.
Then you will get a guy like we got this weekend on a mara run.
We where in the instance and me(priest) and main tank died because of another warrior in our group whuich also died. BUt this idiot didnt know a priest can only rez you if he is next to you. So me and the main tank run into the orange side of the instance to recover our corpses now on our way back to the place you open the portal to enter the princes side of the instance this Idiot of a warrior starts swearing at me cuz I "have" a grudge against him not rezzing him. But I am not even in the instance yet.

Hope you understand the point Im trying to make. That guy has never been in a group with a priest so Im going as far to say he bought the account. Which inturn shows me he doesnt know JACK since at the lvl 52 not knowing about a stupid thing like when you can be rezzed is unacceptable.

The point Im trying to make is. Level your own toon otherwise you will have a lvl 70 char but wont know how to play it. Remeber 1-70 is a learning curve for you.

Do what i did if you willing to spend some $$ and buy Horde lvling guide.
It really works since I have it. You can even have a look I dl somewhere.

Using a service to powerlevel a character is not advisable. Not if you dont like the risk of being hacked...

Just enjoy the path to 70 and then do what you want to do. Or if you really want to power level a char, get a few high level friends that can help you do some quests fast. You build lots of friendships leveling up and strugling through the early zones, end game it is all about raiding and farming rep.

lol... when i initually red te first post I thought you were talking about your maid.

maid = char. I hate mondays

TBH

How difficult can it be to Pwr Lvl if I have a lvl 70.

I put ur char to follow on me and I grind instance after instance.
In about a week u'll be lvl 70

:D

Problem with that is he'll pull a crapload of aggro which means you'll have more "fun" trying to keep him alive because all the baddies are trying to slit his throat rather than yours.

either that or you're WAY to good at keeping aggro and I bow down to you. :)

Wont work he will get like 20 xp per kill? It will be faster if he just quest.
I mean if he gets let say 50xp per kill if you tank. Now he goes questing on his own kils 20 raptops for example each giving him 200-400 depends on rested xp. And at the end another 3000 exp for completing the quest.
7000 xp for 1 quest. How long would you instance for that?

1. It would be lvl based instances ofc.
2. nea. Wont be that little. In the start maybe. But once they get to SM the exp will be really flying :D

But then again. I need my time to play not lvl someone else :D

tip:

play your char normaly till bout lvl 15 or so,Then complete a zone and move onto the next zone,Gather as many quests as possible. With the aid of your lvl 70 friend( which most paid for sites use) run like the wind and complete everything even red titled quests.

with your lvl 70 friends complete / do all old 5 man instances twice.

For questing i would advise to take someone who knows where the quest objectives are.

well ill be damned... i just "found" it :D hehehe

thank you kindly for the offer though :)

would you perhaps know if this guide is worth its salt? i am a COMPLETE noob, have never played WoW before. starting this weekend if the powers that be allows it

The Brian Copps guide is the best there is Horde or Alliance
But it's only Alliance

O btw he used a hunter. But the you can use any, the quests and the order in which they are done is important. It also tell you which is not worth it and which is ;)

I have it but never used it yet. But I'll be starting to use it the long week-end for leveling my Warrior

How big is the guide actually ?

Asking cause I'd like to get my 29 mage up to 70. The only problem is that I can hardly keep up with cash on my main as it is. So in my free time I should be farming cash instead of lvl'ing an alt :p
