PPPD authenication

Hi There,

Ok I have a scenario, running a linksys WRT based router and I need to do PPPOE over a Wireless link, (its not working)

Here is the thing, the other implimentations of windows are non-encrypted during authentication, its the only difference I can think of.

I need an idea to make sure that pppd will authenticate only using plain-text (ie non-pap non-chap)

Any Advice?

which leaves only plain text authentication... but how do I get that into a linksys router, ive telnetted into it and it doesnt have the standard config files under ect? they would be stored under nvram.. how do I change that?
