Can anybody tell me where I can get my hands on Telkom's ADSL client software for their Ethernet based modem. The very helpful (not) support teck directed me to Marconi SA web site that appears not to exist...

Sadly, also one of those sites that only seems to know about IE, doesn't work in Fifi.

Just download Raspppoe client - www.carricksolutions.com - it works better than the telkom one
