Hi, i recently installed an IPCOP machine at home. im running 2 NIC's, one is for the router, the other is for the network. is there anyway to access my router while plugged ito IPcop machine?

At least is there a way i can use windows dialup to connect through pppoe on my router, bypassing IPCOP's firewall?

Thank You

on another subject... im new to IPCOP, how do i monitor bandwith used from each IP address and how do i limit DL Bandwith and Monthly bandwith per IP Address?

Thank You

to answer your first Q, anything wanting to make a pppoe connection through the modem needs to be conncted directly to the modem. If your modem has multiple lan ports, you can connect a secondary netword card in your pc directly to it.

Can't help you out with the 2nd Q, sorry.

thanx, that actually helped, all i had to do was wire an extra cable directly from the router to the switch. The router is in Bridged mode so ell traffic still passes through IPCOP. Now just for the monitoring part
