PPPOE sessions

Hey does anyone know if there is a limit to how many PPPOE sessions you can run directly via various computers through an adsl router.

The router is setup with an account on it and pppoe passthrough is enabled which allows you to run a separate PPPOE session from a computer.

What I want to know is how many separate sessions can I tunnel through from other machines.

also it doesn't seem to affect the speed when i do this from at least 2 machines

No limit. And yes it will affect the speed if you are maxing the line.

As many as you like, the limitation is not with the modem but your ISP, most ISP's only allow a maximum of 4 concurrent connections at the same time.
