Ok so I just bought me a shiny new huaweii k3565. Yay. no more connecting through this pos nokia i have. Curently using an mtn prepaid sim and their data is horrible so wanting to switch to vodacom.

What I would like to know is the following.

1. Does pre-paid data carry for 60 odd days as well
2. Latency for gaming. good/bad/about average.
3. Availability of prepaid data providers. ie can I buy an extra 500mb from my corner shop or only from certain vodacom outlets.

ta muchly

Not 60 odd, up to 60. Your bundle will expire at the end of the next calendar month.
e.g.
buy on July 1 - expires on August 31
buy on July 31 - expires on August 31
2. Latency for gaming. good/bad/about average.
?

You buy airtime, which you can get from your corner shop, then you convert the airtime to a data bundle using the method most convenient to you; USSD, SMS or calling 111.

Question 1. YES
Question 2. No different from any other mobile operator TIA :D
Question 3. You can buy prepaid airtime and just convert it to data by send a MY MEG500 sms and get 500MB of Data for R 189

I hope that has answered ALL your question.

wicked, thanks. was mainly concerned about how the recharging business works.

the latency part, I get about 600-800 ms on international servers using mtn's excuse for a service and was wondering what the average is on the Voda network
