Pre-paid OOb data rates

Hi,

All is well in the 66 vs 75 vs 79 vs 79c voice world, but.....
My problem with all of these is that they (not TM) do not indicate how much you'll pay for data on these pre-paid plans. Does anybody know?

I found:
Telkom Mobile Sim Sonke at 75c/min voice and R0.29/MB
Telkom Mobile More at R1.90/min voice and R1.00/MB (Free airtime for 7 days),
the rest is unknown.

not sure who's the cheapest.... but ye, 3G/HSDPA/LTE prices must come down. I mean, ADSL prices are R2 per gig (most ISP's offer R2 per gig or R3 per gig inbundle)

So.... how come users are being charged so much for 3G/HSDPA/LTE Data. Surely there is no line cost, but there is maintenance costs/ tower service and keeping the equipment in good shape. I would say... R10 per gig should be fair. {R100 for 10gig}



My 2cents.. let me know if there are any specials , that i'm unaware of.
