pre-paid sim card cost from celllc

Does anyone know the overall cost of getting a pre-paid sim card from cellc?

buying a pre paid sim is so easy. Need id and any proof of residence. I noticed they don't care about if it a po box or how old just as long its on a piece of paper.

Only 99 cents for a standard sim card. micro/nano sim cards vary from store to store.

Example Game sell micro sim cards for 99cents, whereas CELL C outlet probably charge R20 - R150.

Alternatively if you don't want to pay for your simcard, keep an eye out at malls on weekends CELL C representatives/agents will encourage you to pay R5 and receive R5 airtime + free simcard.

I purchased a SIM card today, told the sales consultant didn't want to RICA it yet. (DATA SIMCARD) thank goodness she didn't only noticed when I left the store that it was an actual microsim card cut already to size, unlike MTN/8TA you purchase a microsim card but are able to use it as a standard simcard and at a later stage if u comfortable push it and microsim is ready to be used.

+1. You can even print out a statement that's been emailed to you and use that as proof of address as long as it's got some sort of address on it. RICA is such a joke.

The cellc simcard I got at game was cut to 2 sizes. 1 normal size and the micro sim size. So i just pressed it out to get the micro sim or leave it if you want a normal sized sim

I was under the same impression if you purchased a mico simcard it would be in a normal sim card size and if you wanted to use it as a mico simcard u could pop it out but unfortunately the micro simcard was actually cut to a micro sim without the standard size around it.
