pre-WoLK raid success

Considering that I can't play Wrath *:mad:* Telkom *:mad:* I thought I would /flex on how well we did before returning to South Africa a couple of months ago.

I led a casual (yes, casual can succeed) raiding guild that managed:
  • Karazhan: Cleared
  • Gruul's Lair: Cleared
  • Zul'Aman: Cleared, incl timed
  • Outdoor Bosses: 2/2
  • Magtheridon's Lair: Cleared, pre-nerf
  • Serpentshrine Cavern: Cleared, pre-nerf
  • The Eye: Cleared, pre-nerf
  • Hyjal Summit: Cleared, pre-nerf
  • Black Temple: Cleared (8/9) pre-nerf. Illidan downed post my return to SA (I never got my shield :()
  • Sunwell Plateau (2/6) post-nerf, without me.

How far did you manage - assuming that raiding was your "thing" ?
 
cleared full swp =) twins , muru and kj nerfed due to the fact that my guild stepped into BT once swp came out i call it good :P
 
We cleared :

Kara - pre nerf
Gruul - pre nerf
Magtheridon - pre nerf
All world bosses - pre nerf
SSC - pre nerf ** killed vashj when she was still bugged and her lightning blasts did a TON of damage + bats would bug out in phase 3**
TK - pre nerf *killed kael when he still was damn hard and his advisors had tons of HP*
Mount Hyjal - pre nerf (including full attunement done before attunements were lifted to make it easier for casual guilds to see end game)
Black Temple - pre nerf
SWP all bosses pre-nerf apart from KJ. The night before the nerfs kicked in, we got KJ to 10%. One more night and he would have died pre-nerfs.

Killing muru pre nerf was probably the hardest encounter in the entire TBC expansion for me. We wiped for around 3 months there.

We almost made it with a full TBC clear just before the nerfs kicked in... only one more night and we would have made it...
 
Nice. Many times I wished I pushed the guild to go hard-core so that I could kick the poor performers :) But my work schedule prohibited me from playing more than 3x week.
 
Pretty much the same as Pornolio and Morgoth, all cleared pre nerf part from last stuff in swp.
 
All the way to 8/9 BT pre nerf. Cleared BT and some of SWP after nerf.

One note about our guild is we only raid 3 nights a week and have a strict no spoiler /no guide policy for instances, so we learnt everything first hand.

Similar to us then - except I used guides etc :D
