I am the author of that thread ;).

I don't believe that for a moment, for the reasons stated. Besides, the person who wrote all that in pretty good English would never have a dog's breakfast of a sig like you.

Don't play dumb.
I don't. Your problem is you believe you can post whatever you want but everyone else have to post "on topic" and you are further more the soul arbiter of what is "on topic". You also think that you can insult others in snide and snarky ways but that others should not "trash talk"

well you are simply wrong. about so many things.

so. show us the first offending post. so others can judge for themselves.

Snide and snarky ways? Gee, why don't both you and alloytoo though all of your gripes into a single thread so that other threads don't have to suffer your slanderous remarks ;).

Told you...

Rubbish. That guy can write English - you can't put five sentences together without making spelling and grammatical errors - and you are prone to some of the usual Afrikaans speakers' common errors when writing English. He's pretty polite too, unlike you, and does not respond to criticism with empty sidesteps.

You lie. Again.

However, I believe there is a subtle difference (even though Dennett might believe there is not).
Take the example of a feather. It can be argued that before it was used for flight (perhaps for keeping the animal warm) it was a preadaptation with regards to flight. Later on through co-option, it can be incorporated to be used in flight. Then it can be referred to as an exaptation.

Techne:

I agree, and think that preadaptation does not differ from exaptation.

You are the only person doing the lying here.

Read the OP:
It could be argued that an exaptation forms as a result of co-option from a preadaptation, however Daniel Dennett denies exaptation differs from preadaptation.

I am happy with either explanation.

Promise you will tell others to do the same and not just hypocritically apply this double standard to me?
What double standards are you accusing me of here? I personally answer direct questions aimed at me and expect questions I asked to be answered. Which is why I asked them.

I am not concerned with how others debate or discuss. Deal with it.
Lol, more slander.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means
