On my home ADSL, when browsing the web from an IBM laptop and MacBook (via wireless), and from my desktop, all is fine EXCEPT on the Macbook.

On the Macbook, the browser (whether Firefox or Safari) will not load certain sites (e.g. yahoo, google, facebook, etc.). All these sites work fine on the other machines via the same router at the same time. Only local sites load on the macbook, but not all.

I have taken to macbook to work, connected to wireless and ADSL there (no proxies) and it works perfectly. So it's not the Macbook or its browsers.

I have heard that this sometimes happens with this router. Any ideas? Is there a setting on the router? Software upgrade?

Hi..

Try disable premium-combo firewall.
(@ ie-address type 10.0.0.2(if it hasn't been changed).then configuration, firewall, &below 'security state'... check 'disabled' at firewall, then click 'change state' button. then 'save config'(at the left below configuration).. then 'save' on the right.. and try browse...

hope it might help..
