Hi
Looking to buy this, what Difference will the Japenese version make. Don`t want a xbox in japanese:eek:

XBOX360 Premium edition, 20Gb Harddrive, 1 wireless remote, DVD wireless remote. Headset. Brand new sealed in box, japanese version.

um, you'll be region locked to japanese games... but otherwise should be the same really. was also contemplating that during my holiday in december in japan untill i realised that little detail...

So it will be best not to buy it, as I will have trouble with some games.

Well, isn't Japan NTSC? And SA PAL? So if you buy an NTSC console you won't be able to play any PAL-only games, which are sold in SA retailers.

A Xbox 360 bought in Japan is NTSC-J. Region locked to NTSC-J & Region-Free games.

There is no Free-Loader software or mod-chip to allow you to play other region games.

Local PAL games available at our retailers, would have to be the big titles. For example, Halo Wars is region-free.

Unless you adamant to play imported Japan released games, like RPG's in its native Japanese ... then I don't see the point.

OFF-TOPIC: I have a NTSC-J Wii console. It was dirt cheap. Menus are in Japanese but I'm a collector so something uncommon is what I always look to get :D
