Preorder Afterfall: InSanity for $1

Idea is good that can be some relly epic if they reach the goal.
Good marketing strategy i can buy game for $1 or send that $1 for charity both options are great.

Nice idea, but 10 Million by the end of Nov! They've been going 2 weeks already and only have almost 18000 - gonna be tough.

Great idea, for $1 i'm in if i don't get game money go for amnesty international so it's fine too.

Well, 17 825 down and only 9 982 175 pre-orders to go... before November 25. That counter might be broken though. I do not think they are gonna make it at this rate.

Have pre-ordered. Thanks for the heads-up.

I just hope the actual game's English isn't as bad as that site's :/

So you are willing to cough up $33.99 more to get the game?

I don't know anything about the game beyond that trailer/video. It's $1, hardly bank-breaking and I like supporting novel ideas.

Your question, however, doesn't make much sense considering the context :p

There is no way that they'll be able to reach 10 million sales before the 25th of November, so you'll have to pay $33.90 on top of the $1 you already paid to get the game... hence the question, are willing to cough up $33.90 more to get the game?

Ah, see? If you had elaborated the first time I would've been able to answer that question :D

As I said, I don't know much about the game but I'll keep an eye on it. I'm happy to support the initiative and if it flops, then at least that $1 goes to charity. But if it doesn't strike one helluva chord before release, I'll probably pass it up.

I agree though, there's a very slim chance of it ever making 5-million sales, let alone their current target of 10-million. But who knows, they might surprise us.

These days most well-known multi-platform AAA titles work with a budget reaching up to $20,000,000. I don't see a PC-exclusive indie game reaching close to that without some serious word-of-mouth.

What happens if it doesn't make the 5-million sales? the $1 goes to charity and you don't get the game?

The option that we can donate charity organization is very nice idea - and we paying very small price for not only a game, but too we're getting OST from game ^^ The type of marketing is rarely for many games, so it's good that Aftarfall: InSanity have such promotion ^^
