Prepaid data for streaming when on holiday

What would be the best mobile prepaid data option for streaming (netflix, dstv, youtube, music) and browsing. I only need it for 1 month when on holiday.

Family of 5 that is used to fiber, i.e. no respect for data usage... :)
 
Having no respect for data usage on LTE can be very expensive. Check if your apps allow you to download the content for offline viewing. The Youtube app definitely supports it.

Assuming that you plan to put the sim card in a mifi or LTE router, I'd look at these two options:
- Telkom's Smartbroadband wireless bundles (ranges from 5GB @ R99 to 220GB at R1059)
- CellC's 50GB or 200GB bundles for R500 and R1999 respectively

Check whether your holiday destination has LTE network coverage before buying one of these bundles.
 
I would go with the telkom 220GB, its very easy to setup and it will last for 60 days and easy to top up if needed

You might as well go for the 1TB deal which is the same price as the 220
 
Is this right?
Everyone permanently on smartphone/tv at home packs up the gear and heads for the coast in order to be permanently on smartphone/tv.

Based on what I can see, the 50gb CellC bundle is able to roam on Mtn's network, whlie Telkom's Freeme bundles are considered as 'All network data' which can roam on Vodacom's network. The smart broadband wireless bundles on the other hand can only be used on Telkom Mobile's own network.

Note that when you check the coverage on CellC's website, you have to click on 4G to display the coverage. Mine defaulted to Fixed LTE which made it appear is if the coverage was very limited.

Where are you going to if you don't mind me asking?
