Asking for a friend,

He is using a wireless electrical meter, however on the meter it says:

rF con

He said it's a conlog, so I googled it and found this:

wUIU Out of Range

However he cannot find anything that looks out of the ordinary, except his wireless meter.

Does anyone know any implications of this? He hasn't had to buy electricity for a month, nor has he tampered with anything

This is what I found also. It could be something interrupting the communication to the Unit. Firstly your friend must figure out where the meter is installed and try to move closer to it.

I know I'm two days late, but basically the setup is something like this:
You have a wireless meter and somewhere in the street (if you are in a house) or in the building (for flats) is the DB box where the supply gets split into each dwelling. In that box is where the actual readings are made, the device in your hand is essentially just a display of what the real meter inside that box is doing. In my case the garage is out of range, while the kitchen is inside range of that DB box.
