Prepaid Meter - Eksdom

Hello all

I own a property in the Eastern Cape that falls under the Amatola District Council

We obtain power from Eskom on a month to month billing cycle

I would like to install pre paid meters, one for upstairs which is our family holiday home and downstairs, we rent our to a tenant.

Would we have to approach eskom to install the meters? Or how would we go about it?

if can install a manual meter for holiday home that you can log
Let tenant use prepaid meter
pay tenant the electricity used on your meter in discount on thier rent (or buy a voucher for thier meter to same amount of units)

No, you get prepaid from a company that supply the prepaid meters, they give you software to do billing, etc

else you can add extra charges to prepaid bill
