Slightly OT

I have 2 GPRS modules operating in the field and the data usage on both units are not fixed in any way. In order to maintain the balances on these SIM cards I either have to load more Rands than I consume or I have to retrieve the SIM cards from the field, pop them into a cellphone and dial *100# to get the latest balance.

The question is: Can I obtain the balances any other way that is not as time consuming?

If it has been asked and answered in this forum, I appologise in advance:D

Thanks for the help!:)

How about logging on to vodacom4me.co.za and check the balance there? Its usually about a few hours behind, but that should be accurate enough? You will need to register first which involve them sending you the password by sms to the phone.

Hope it helps

Thanks! I'm aware of vodacom4me which I use for my 3G card bundle usage.

What if I don't have bundles loaded? I have never seen any usage except for bundle balances etc.

On prepaid you can view account balances, (including how much cash is on the sim). You can also view the last 10 transactions.

I use Vodacom4Me to keep track of my prepaid sims
